Dr. Elmer Herndon acts as our local veterinarian, providing veterinary services for general health and nutrition of the deer. In addition, Dr. Herndon is in charge of synchronizing the does for insemination and medicating the deer as needed for our LAI program.
When you purchase UltraDeer™ from DeerStar you will be purchasing quality genetics and a detailed computerized pedigree on each UltraBuck™ and UltraDoe™. We also offer DNA testing on each deer sold. All our deer have DNA samples for positive identification as required. The DNA for our deer will be registered with the Texas Deer Association and DNA Solutions.
